Application Support Representative performs the verification of referring non-privileged providers, new credentialed providers and provider updates, enters verification information into a data repository, and updates provider information in accordance to applicable Bylaws, Rules, Regulations, and Policies.


Minimum Requirements

  • High school or equivalent.
  • Required knowledge of and experience with personal computers, Windows and Microsoft applications, copier and fax machines and multi-line telephone.
  • Experience in typing, word processing, and business correspondence is required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with primary source verifications, Medicare, Medicaid, NCQA and DOI standards are preferred.
  • Three years experience in a role that performs or supports provider credentialing and enrollment in a hospital, managed care plan or CMS environment is preferred.
