We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Vidant Medical Center provides acute, intermediate, rehabilitation and outpatient services to more than 1.4 million people in 29 counties.   • Strong clerical functions, eye for detail, good judgment, good people skills.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of excel, working w/ large spreadsheets, Groupwise email and calendars, Webex.
  • Ideally, the applicant would be familiar w/ VH systems and processes.
  • Should have experience with order entry, purchasing systems, tracking orders, contracts, vendor communications, large equipment deliveries.
  • Able to coordinate / direct complex work.
  • Flexible and able to do inventory (even at the warehouse if needed).
  • Physically able to walk / stand for 2 hrs or more at a time.
  • Able to lift moderate sized packages 15-18 lbs.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma required, additional education preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible clerical experience required.
  • Experience with equipment ordering and inventory management preferred.
