Position Summary

  • Vidant Health is conducting a search for a Talent Acquisition Consultant (TAC) serves as a strategic business partner responsible identifying, interviewing, screening and presenting qualified candidates.

  • The TAC will develop postings with potential revisions, as needed, to ensure candidate attraction, accurate job summary and alignment of business objectives with requirements for open positions.

  • The TAC will build recruiting plans to ensure attainment of hiring goals and overall recruitment metrics.

  • The TAC will pursue passive and active candidates via Application Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, cold calling, networking, referrals, etc. The TAC ensures that information is entered, maintained, current and accurate in the Applicant Tracking System.

  • The TAC conducts intake sessions with hiring managers to gain an understanding of the job opening and to ensure alignment regarding key steps in the hiring process through the use of a service level agreement. The TAC trains and educates new directors/managers/supervisors on recruiting processes.

Recruitment Services are:

  • Working closely with hiring management to understand their business, proactively address their needs. 

  • Ensures a great candidate experience, presenting a professional and positive image throughout the recruiting process with timely communication and follow up.

  • Prepares applicants for interviewing with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information regarding the job via job descriptions and department structure.

  • Determines and recommends new hire or transfer rates of pay considering internal equity and labor market

  • Negotiates wage rates and other terms/conditions of employment with candidates, and gain commitment for current and future job requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • College Degree (4 yrs)  - Bachelor Degree in Communications, Sales, Marketing, Human Resources or related field is required.

  • Certification in Human Resources or Healthcare Recruitment preferred.

  • 3 - 5 years of Human Resources experience (with demonstrated solid experience and knowledge in recruitment and other human resources disciplines including, compensation, benefits, HRIS, employee/labor relations, training and organization development).

  • Strongly prefer healthcare industry experience. Experience with applicant tracking, HRIS or customer tracking systems preferred.
