Position Summary

The Patient Accounts Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily activities of the Patient Counselors. The position is responsible for the customer service area and dealing with incoming calls and walk in patients. To maximize collections with a focus on excellent customer service while working with patients and their financial obligation for services provided.The position requires the ability to supervise staff, understand applicable information systems and utilize good judgement and decision making abilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 year college degree - Healthcare Admin, Finance, Business Degree or related.
  • 2 Years of experience may substitute for 2 years of education.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Business Office of a Healthcare Provider, mainly in customer service or collections.
