Our goal is to enhance services that are available locally and to eliminate barriers involving time, distance and lack of awareness that sometimes prevent patients from receiving the care they need.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation for and facilitation of "critical path" President meetings (e.g., with VMC executive leadership, current or potential VMC partners, funders, Community College, government officials and peer executives. 
  • Coordination / orchestration of projects or commitments directly involving the President and his direct reports. 
  • Independent leadership of special President-initiated projects, ranging from written products to be authored by thePresident by convening thought leaders on various topics. 
  • Development of draft communication on behalf of the President and/or research in support of these. 
  • Proactive identification of issues that could impact the successful execution of the President's commitments. 
  • Support the executive team's communications with the President.

  

Minimum Requirements

  • MBA required.
  • Minimum of three years work experience required.
  • Mission-driven; passionate about VMC and related constituencies. Good sense of self and strong personal presence.
  • Market research experience a plus.
  • Prior publications preferred, as the successful candidate will be required to draft articles that are publishable.
  • Willingness to work hard and take direction - but also creatively solve problems for which the answers aren't always obvious.
  • Knowledge of VMC and key stakeholders desirable but not essential.
