About Vidant Medical Center
Vidant Medical Center is a fully accredited, 900+ bed regional referral facility encompassing a Level-1 Trauma Center and extensive inpatient and outpatient services including intensive and intermediate care, pediatrics, bariatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, pain management and psychiatry.
To deliver direct, quality patient care, utilizing a basic clinical skill level and knowledge base. To provide proficient, age specific, professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, hospital practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the state of North Carolina. Participates in Quality Improvement Activities. Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promotes personal and professional development.
This position is for full time 36 hrs week to include weekend rotation. Positions are available for 12 hr shifts, straight days or straight nights. Weekend rotation every other weekend will be involved. Schedules are made typically for 6 weeks in advance.
Offers are based on total years of related RN work experience.
Those hired with ADN would be expected to get BSN within 5 years of start date.
