The 32 bed Neuroscience unit accommodates ICU, Intermediate and general level care for the neurosurgical and neurologically impaired patients. It is an aggressively growing service line, utilizing technology and best practice to promote optimal patient outcomes. Learn more

  • Deliver direct, quality patient care, utilizing a basic clinical skill level and knowledge base. 
  • To provide proficient, age specific, professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with legal, hospital practice and departmental policies and procedures, established standards of nursing care and practice, and as defined by the state of  North Carolina.
  • Participates in Quality Improvement Activities. 
  • Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promotes personal and professional development. 

Minimum Requirements

  • BSN Preferred or ADN Degree
  • Current RN license is required.
  • Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) through the American Heart Association required.  
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) is required.
