Responsibilities

  • Provides technological guidance for all facets of Human Resources as well as the regional Human Resources departments as needed relative to PeopleSoft.

  • Builds project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning.

  • Serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Acts as resource for the set-up, maintenance and trouble shooting of software applications related to HRIS.

  • Assists in addressing/analyzing issues/projects relevant to the Human Resources division as it relates to HRIS.

  • Provides support to Human Resources division in the application, evaluation and use of software to provide needed data for statistical purposes. Creates and schedules standard and adhoc statistical reports by data extraction

  • Assists with the development, implementation and maintenance, and long-range planning for computer applications within HRIS. Compare data from different sources to draw conclusions. Use this data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.

  • Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation to assist and support end users. Trains users on new processes and functionality on an ongoing basis. Reinforces training through continuous monitoring of processes and evaluates opportunities for improvement with Human Resource leaders.

  • Leads implementation of HRIS initiatives as assigned. Testing and documentation of all new functionality during software upgrades and/or implementations. Utilize interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate college degree in Computer Science, Business or Heathcare related field required.
  • One to three years of progressive experience with computer applications and business and software/programming is required. Human Resources experience and a 4 yr degree is preferred.
  • Two additional years of experience may be substituted for the required education with a minimum of one year experience in PeopleSoft or similar computer application.
  • Three to five years work experience with various Systems Project teams designing software set up and creating reports.
  • Minimal experience with computer applications in H.R./Software/programming experience desirable.
