Vidant Medical Center also has 6 CARF accredited programs. Programs and equipment include Lokomat, ZeroG Harness, Bioness, and Biodex.

Position Summary

  • Evaluates patients with a wide variety of communication disorders
  • Develops & implements treatment plan for patients with various communication disorders
  • Assesses treatment progress and revises treatment program
  • Beginning to apply specialty skills to evaluate and treat patients with more complex disorders
  • Participates in Speech-Language Pathology Q.A. activities
  • Participates in special projects for the department and Regional Rehabilitation Center

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters Degree/Concentration: Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
  • Licensure or Certification: NC Speech-Language Pathology license
  • American Speech and Hearing Association Certification
  • Related Work Experience: More than 1 year but less than 2 years Clinical experience as a  SLP I
