Position Summary

The social worker is responsible for providing assistance to patients and their families as they adjust to Internal and external psycho-social, emotional, spiritual and economic difficulties associated with the patient's illness, disability, treatment and recovery period. Acts as an advocate for the patient. Responsible for services in the acute hospital and skilled facility.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Healthcare social work experience strongly preferred.

Preferred Requirements

  • Healthcare ambulatory clinic setting experience preferred
