Position Summary

The Service Line Program Certification Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of all program certifications to comply with national standards for quality of care as dictated by accreditation and regulatory entities including but not limited to American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, The Joint Commission.  The Service Lines Program Certification Coordinator supports the mission, goals and values of Vidant Health with a focus on planning, coordination, education and ongoing care of patients across the continuum. Adheres to general system standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing
  • If Bachelor's Degree in non-nursing field, Associate of Science degree in Nursing
  • 5 years experience in healthcare setting
  • Certification in Quality/Performance Improvement preferred or within 2 years of hire and recertified as required by certifying agency.
