About Vidant Duplin Hospital

Vidant Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina and has 20 practicing physicians on its active medical staff. Vidant Duplin serves Duplin County and surrounding communities in Eastern North Carolina with a population of approximately 60,000 people. On an annually basis, it serves 3,800 inpatients and over 52,000 outpatients (including nearly 30,0000 ED visits), in addition to a surgical volume of 2,050.

Responsibilities

  • Under the overall supervision of the CNO, the Respiratory/ Sleep Lab  Manager ensures that all respiratory tests and sleep studies are performed according to operating policies and procedures. 
  • The Manager Supervises, coordinates, and participates in activities of workers performing various testing that assist the physician in treatment of patients.
  • Position requires a strong working knowledge of respiratory and sleep functions, a fundamental understanding of the budget processes, personnel management and applicable state and federal regulations. 
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize and organize work, communicate effectively at all levels, problem solve and think critically.    

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board
  •  At least five years of clinical management experience.

  • Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR

  • Advanced Life support certification, if not current at time of hire, must complete and maintain within first 12 months of employment.

  • Active status with NBRC recommended 

  •  Bachelor of Science degree
