Vidant Chowan Hospital is a modern 25 bed critical access facility located in historic Edenton, North Carolina, and provides services and programs to 45,000 people in 4 counties. Vidant Chowan Hospital's partnership with Vidant Health gives our patients access to state-of-the-art services provided by an academic medical center. Our medical staff includes some of the finest primary care, pediatric, internal medicine physicians and surgeons in the region, and we have a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.

Position Summary

To assist the physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech language pathologists, and physical therapist assistants in the provision of direct patient care to inpatients and outpatients of Vidant Chowan Hospital and of the community, ranging from neonates to the elderly, in order to facilitate their optimum return to function. 

The Rehab technician assists in carrying out patient-related activities which are predetermined for each patient and assigned by the therapist. He/She also performs duties related to the routine operation of the office as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Other Information

  • Part-time position with benefits
  • Monday-Thursday, 8:00am - 3:00pm with one hour lunch (24 hours per week guaranteed)
  • Will work additional hours as needed on Fridays pending orthopedic/acute surgery schedule changes
