Position Summary

Perform compliance audits across Vidant Health  to ensure data integrity, and compliance with federal and state regulations pertaining to, but not limited to complete revenue cycle, medical record documentation, coding and billing, HIPAA, conflict of interest, or clinical trials billing.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 year college degree - Nursing, Health Information Management, allied health or other related field of study is required.
  • Associate degree in Nursing or Health Information Management, with two years experience in clinical or compliance auditing may be substituted for one year of required education, with a maximum substitution of two years.
  • Project management skills, strong oral and written communication skills, analytical and reporting skills, and proficiency with MS Office products.  HIPAA privacy and medical research experience is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in health care facilities, outside regulatory agencies, compliance or healthcare auditors is required.
