Vidant Medical Center is a 900+ bed Level-1 Trauma Center, regional referral hospital and is the flagship hospital for Vidant Health. We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Central Staffing Office (CSO) offers an opportunity for growth and development of skills. We serve the entire hospital, you will have the opportunity to take care of multiple patient populations and disease processes. We tailor your orientation to your current skill mix with a goal of broadening it to encompass a variety of populations and acuity levels.
Flexibility is key...both in your life and in our hospital. We are willing to consider shifts as short as 4 hours or as many as 12 hours either day or night. CSO management is willing to work with you in finding a good work-life balance. In return we ask for your help as we maneuver through census peaks and valleys. Our team helps smooth out the staffing challenges of the unexpected.

Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or temporary North Carolina licensure or meet requirements to hold RN licensure in a compact state.
Experience with all disciplines across the facility.
At least 2 years of progressively related experience required such as Peds, Medical/Surgical specialty, etc
This is a float position.
Requires 90 hours to be worked per six weeks - non-benefited position, (supplemental III) SPIII.
Rotating Shifts-to be determined.
