About James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital

The James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center offers 197 beds and bassinets and an array of specialized services unequaled in eastern North Carolina. Our patient-and-family-centered care philosophy is more than a mantra; it's the guiding force of our efforts and has been for nearly 30 years. It is expressed in tangible ways throughout our recent 78,000-square-foot expansion.

Women's Health is looking for a float pool RN to provide care across the division. The units included in this scope are High Risk Labor and Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, and Mother/Baby.

About Women's Care:

As a tertiary referral center for 29 counties in eastern North Carolina, Women's Care provides care to the highest risk obstetrical patient to the care for low-risk patients in a birthing center environment. Unique to Labor and Delivery units, this unit provides a model that crosses the continuum of obstetrical services including Triage, High-risk Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, C-sections, PACU and newborn care.
