Position Summary

  • The Referral Coordinator must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to coordinate operations of the referral processes, including, but not limited to pre-certifications, and scheduling appointments.
  • Coordinate operations and processes of the Centralized Referral Office.
  • Office equipment operation and additional duties as required by practice manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School + 1-2 years formal training/education is required.
  • Must possess CPT and ICD-9/10 coding knowledge.
  • Must know medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
  • 1-3 years related work experience.
  • Must possess computer skills, with Excel and Word knowledge/experience.
  • Medical Office experience is preferred.
