Position Summary

  • The Receptionist is responsible and accountable for various duties relating to scheduling, processing orders, and coordinating outpatients for radiology procedures. 
  • The Receptionist greets all patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and positive way. 
  • The Receptionist communicates in person and on the phone in a professional manner.
  • Performs day to day coordination of all activities at the radiology services main desk.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age, cultural, and spiritual needs of the patient.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equiv.
  • Ability to operate computer and office equipment.
  • Skills that include the following: Effective communication, initiative, problem solving ability, accountability, flexibility, stress management, and time management.

Preferred Requirements

  • Secretarial or reception experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Other Information

  • Monday-Friday, with rotating hours: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
