About Vidant Duplin Hospital
Vidant Duplin Hospital is a 81-bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The newly renovated, 15-bed ER serves approximately 22,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns.
Maintains accurate patient records on log sheets, this includes type, amount, lot # and expiration dates of contrast media.
Assists Radiologist with procedures, starting IV’s and administers correct dosages of contrast media in accordance to protocols and supervision of Radiologist. Completes Contrast Questionnaire prior to procedure and is Competent in the use of sterile tray technique
Demonstrates safe operation of all CT equipment in compliance with department policy, safety, disinfection, infection control and quality control standards
Demonstrates proper radiation safety for patient, self and others within procedure
Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
Current R.T. R. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technolgist (A.R.R.T.)
Registered Radiology Technologist or Registry Eligible with RT(R) credential obtained within 12 months from hire date or registry eligibility status
CT Certification and experience required.
Current BLS, if not current at time of hire, must complete within first 6 months of employment and maintain.
