Position Summary

A Radiologic Tech-CT is responsible for the operation of CT imaging equipment and for performing examinations. The CT Technologist demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age, disease process and cultural/spiritual needs of the patient in a variety of clinical settings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current R.T.R. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technolgist.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist or Registry Eligible with RT(R) credential obtained within 12 months from hire date or registry eligibility status.
  • CT experience required.
  • American Heart Association issued CPR Healthcare Provider Certification.  If not current at time of hire, must complete within first 6 months of employment and maintain.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
