Our Medical ICU Step down Unit allows you to grow as a Registered Nurse with the support of "On the Floor" Respiratory Therapists, Emergency Response Team ERT, Lift Team, Float Nurse, Charge Nurse, and IV Team.  Excellent work environment.  Maria Locklear and her staff are excellent teachers and would love experienced applicants as well.  JOIN THE MIU TEAM

Position Summary

Deliver direct, quality patient care, utilizing a basic clinical skill level and knowledge base. Develop, implements and evaluates/revises a plan of care.

Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promotes personal and professional development. Participate in Service Excellence Program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina or temporary North Carolina licensure or meet requirements to hold RN licensure in a compact state.
  • Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) may be required depending on unit requirements.
