Position Summary

  • The Thoracic Oncology Program Coordinator works closely with the Pulmonary Medical Director and the Thoracic Oncology/SPIN Clinic teams to assure timely and efficient throughput and management of lung disease patients using the multidisciplinary approach.
  • This position requires weekly attendance at the SPIN Clinic, assistance with advanced diagnostic lung procedures, and oversight of the lung cancer screening program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Required: Core professional nursing knowledge and skills; ability to apply knowledge; anticipate, think and respond quickly; Ability to work as a member of team and promote teamwork with other staff members; Ability to work with patients in a compassionate, non judgmental manner.
  • North Carolina RN license is required.
  • BSN required
  • 3 years to 5 years RN experience required.

Preferred Requirements

  • MSN Preferred.
  • Experience in Pulmonary Diagnostics Preferred.

  • Hours - Full-Time - 40 Hours a Week - Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm - Hours may be adjusted as needed.
