Position Summary

  • The Quality Registered Nurse works under the direction of the Director of Quality. 
  • He/she performs data abstraction and analysis of Health System quality and performance initiatives.
  • Sserves as a quality champion; assists with the planning, developing, implementation, and evaluation of quality initiatives as identified by the Board of Trustees, Executive Medical Staff, and Leadership; and coordinates activities to ensure compliance with evidence based practice.

Minimum Requirements

  • A registered nurse from an approved school of nursing licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina with a BSN or applicable experience.
  • Expertise in databases, internet, and general office machines required. 
  • A minimum of five years experience in an acute healthcare setting required.
  • Willing to pursue Infection Control Certificate

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in quality improvement preferred.
