Position Summary

The Quality Analyst (QA) III assures accurate and timely information provided to customers using standard operating procedures for the Office of Quality. The QA III will establish data dictionaries as appropriate, routinely validates data sources and outputs, and applies current relevant performance methods in achieving successful outcomes. He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, define, and prioritize data elements and data collections methodology. Will be serving as a primary contact for database system issues to collaborate with IS to troubleshoot such issues. The QA III will aid in designing and developing project plans that involves project coordination in assistance with project management tool, measurement plan, estimate costs to determine budget, as well as incorporating evidence-based guidelines. Must demonstrate up-to-date knowledge and processes that results in the organizational accreditation, regulatory, and standards applicable to healthcare setting.

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters degree in Information Systems, Decision Science, or Business, Public Health or related field

  • Three to five years experience with database management, financial services, information services, or planning

  • >5 years experience in healthcare setting

  • Certification in specialty preferred  in 3 years and recertified every 2 years
