Position Summary

  • Under the Supervision of the Materials Manager and the overall supervision of the Director of Support Services, the Pyxis Coordinator provides safe, expedient, cost-effective services.
  • As a member of a team of health care support personnel a Pyxis Coordinator evaluates and manages installation, upgrades, and staff education for all pyxis supply equipment in all of clinical settings. 
  • The Pyxis Coordinator behaves in a manner consistent with the standards and ethics of all health care support personnel. 
  • In addition to performing coordination of pyxis activities, the Pyxis Coordinator manages consoles for proper functioning, monitors effectiveness and accuracy of documentation, and shares information with appropriate personnel. 
  • The Pyxis Coordinator also assures that all patient admission/discharge/transfer flows appropriately to bill the patient correctly for the services provided.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Requirements

  • One to Two Years Related Experience.
  • Micrososft Office Experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
