About Vidant Health
Vidant Health is a regional health system serving 29 counties in eastern North Carolina. We are working every day to improve the health of the 1.4 million people we serve. Vidant Health is made up of 9 hospitals, physician practices, home health, hospice, wellness centers and other health care services. Vidant Medical Center is affiliated with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Leads program development efforts for system wide implementation of standards and best practices related to Health Information Exchange. Promotes adoption and use of best practices using a variety of methods, including but not limited to education, promotion, and consultative support. Develops program infrastructure including business plans, risk assessments, annual goals and evaluations. Assures implementation of system level strategies that meet: clinical standards expectations, regulatory/accreditation requirements and system goals.
Serves as a direct line leader within Vidant Health to facilitate Health Information Exchange and Transitions of Care implementation and evaluation.
Provide operational expertise and oversight for requirements of the program.
Leads work groups with all business lines impacted by Transitions of Care. Provides oversight and assures system readiness to comply with public reporting.
Leads system wide performance improvement efforts to achieve organizational goals.
Identifies and utilizes quality tools that are most appropriate to measure, analyze, and display data. Provides ongoing consultation for data analysis and action planning.
Serves as a resource for regulatory requirements in Health Information Exchange and Transitions of Care.
Develops productive relationships with executives, leaders, physicians and staff.
Master's Degree in nursing, public health, information technology, health care related, education required.
Certification in related field required (PMP, Lean).
3 to 5 years experience as a project/program manager, manager, business analyst, clinician.
