Position Summary

The Program Coordinator assists the Vice President of Clinical Population Health in planning, implementation, facilitation, and evaluation of Access to Care Network and supports the operation of networks located in the Vidant Health service area. They will be responsible for directing and overseeing Access to Health Network operations and programs to establish a coordinated system of health care access for low income uninsured residing in Hertford, Gates, and Edgecombe County.  Primary duties include program development and management, fund-raising, financial management, marketing and public relations and oversight of Network activities. This is a grant-funded position, renewable annually.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Three to five years experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Community Relations, Program Administration, or related field.

  • Computer skills (especially Microsoft based Word, Excel, Power Point) and ability to learn organization's database.

  • Ability to make independent decisions with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.

  • Organizational skills and ability to coordinate a high volume of diverse assignments, effectively handling competing priorities and maintaining attention to detail.
