Position Summary

Professional Development Specialist (Nursing) inspires professional nurses through human connections, innovation and experiential learning, utilizing evidence-based practice with the goal of advancing the mission of Vidant Health.

Minimum Requirements

  • MSN in Nursing Education is required.
  • MSN with Postmasters Certificate in Education is required.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • Professional Development Specialist Nursing will be required to obtain Nursing Professional Development Certification within 3 years.
  • 3 years to 5 years in clinical practice with evidence of clinical knowledge, leadership, and teaching.
