Position Summary

The Population Health Analyst reports to the Senior Administrator of Population Health and is responsible for providing analysis and interpretation of multiple sources of data to drive the performance of value based contracts held by Vidant Health, Coastal Plains LLC or other Vidant subsidary. Requires the ability to translate claims and clinical data into useable formats for use from the boardroom to the bedside. Will coordinate all data aspects of the Claims Analytics system, including data validation, upkeep of governance, and working with vendors, Information Systems, and other internal/external Vidant partners to ensure accuracy and systemwide consistency.

Minimum Requirements

  • 4 year college degree required.  Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Public Health, Health Care Management, Nursing, Therapies or other Clinical Degree.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, knowledge of relational database and statistical functions is preferred

  • 1 to 3 years experience required.

  • Prefered experience in the health care industry on the provider or payor side.
