Responsibilities

1.  Handle all locum tenen needs within Vidant

  • Assess the qualifications for locum tenens candidates via phone and email communication prior to presenting to facility or operations team members.
  • Works with independent contractors to fill needs
  • Sends profile sheet to facility for completion
  • Works with Media Coordinator to post locum opportunities on website
  • Sources local candidates to cover needs throughout system
  • Screens candidates before presenting
  • Confirms candidates and get confirmation letter signed 
2.  Credentialing/Enrollment tracking
  • Request credentialing/enrollment for all providers cedentialed with VMG
  • Assists with management of contracts and verifying completion of all onboarding requirements, including malpractice insurance, collaborative practice agreements, medical credntialing and privleging, payor enrollment.
  • Coordinates and assists HR with onboarding new providers
  • Sends out weekly status report to Operation Administrators and Recruiters

3.  Sourcing

  • Sources candidates through emails from PracticeMatch, PracticeLink
  • Pre-screens candidates via various means of communication before handing over to physican recruiter
  • Email candidates found on advertising sites to ascertain interest in posted positions within Vidant Health

Minimum Requirements

  • High school plus 2 years of formal education/experience in Business, finance, healthcare or related field of study.

  • Four year degree, with 1-3 years of related work experience may be substituted for the minimum experience requirement.

  • 3 - 5 years previous healthcare recruitment experience, physician recruitment experience preferred.
