About Vidant Medical Center

Vidant Medical Center is a fully accredited, 900+ bed regional referral facility encompassing a Level-1 Trauma Center and extensive inpatient and outpatient services including intensive and intermediate care, pediatrics, bariatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, pain management and psychiatry.

Department Information

  • Working in the Trauma and Surgical ICU, step-down unit and out patient clinic.
  • Established group of eight trauma and acute care surgeons/intensivists and six advanced level practitioners in a level 1 trauma center.
  • Must be comfortable procedures such as intubation, placement and removal of arterial lines central line, chest tubes, surgical procedures such as tracheostomy, Peg tube tubes and complex wound management

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be masters prepared.
  • Preferred acute care and critical care experience.
  • New graduates considered based on prior experience.
