The James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center offers 197 beds and bassinets and an array of specialized services unequaled in eastern North Carolina. Position Summary

Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many of the workflow activities.The expectations are to support the mission, vision, and core values of Vidant Health and the pharmacy department. Further expectations are to actively engage in professional self-development and take a proactive approach to learning.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent (GED) or higher
  • One year of experience in hospital or retail pharmacy setting 
  • CPhT strongly preferred

Other Information

  • As needed (PRN) position - No benefits
  • Weekend coverage for 2nd shift and and a couple of 2nd shifts during the week (will only be able to work 40 hours every two weeks)
