Position Summary

  • Performs all essential tasks and responsibilities related to preparing, dispensing, and distributing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Actions reflect and demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care in which the patient needs and desires are actively solicited.
  • Ensures that policies, procedures, and regulations are followed to support a culture of accountability, consistency, continuous quality improvement, and safety. 
  • Actively learns new skills to enhance the provision of pharmacy services.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School or equivalent is required.
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) required; specialty pharmacy experience highly preferred; proficient with Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Professional requirements maintained including registration annually with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy and renewal of PTCB certification is required.
  • 1 year to 3 years experience in retail or specialty pharmacy is required.

Other Information

  • Hours will be 8:00am - 6:30pm / M-F. 
  • No call, no weekends, or holidays.
