Under the Administrator, Corporate Human Resources, the Payroll Coordinator performs the daily activities of all payroll
processes, including schedules, deadlines, and checks.
The Payroll Coordinator performs all activities according to the general accepted accounting principles and manages daily activities as they relate to completing the biweekly payroll process.
Payroll Coordinator ensures that all changes in employee status are noted properly and appropriate withholding deductions are made. Stop payments and-or approves re-issuance of payroll checks, makes appropriate adjustments.
Reviews, approves and confirms biweekly payroll relating to these functions, and performs annual activity relating to W-2 forms.
Payroll Coordinator is required to provide quality, efficient information on a timely basis.
Maintain a working knowledge of payroll accounting regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Assist the other employees of the Human Resources Department as needed.
High School + 1-2 yrs of formal training/education Business, Accounting or Finance related field.
Related work experience.
1 year to 3 years experience with payroll processing.
