We serve as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. Vidant Medical Center is looking for a Patient Escorter to become part of our Radiology Team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide transportation for patients to and from Radiology Services.
  • Practice good quality patient care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Tele Tracking system.
  • Perform clerical duties.
  • Adheres to dress code.
  • Attends in-service and staff meetings, as required, fulfilling mandatory requirements annually.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

 Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • CPR training, basic computer skills, or previous hospital, medical experience preferred.

Other Information

  • Full time position (1.0 FTE)/40 hours week
  • Hours: to be determined. Evenings (3p-11p)
