Position Summary

  • As a Patient Access Services Representative, you are responsible for providing quality scheduling, registration and insurance verification services.  Providing exceptional customer service to all patients, clinicians, visitors, peers and internal customers is also an expectation.  Delivering quality scheduling and registration services is inclusive of, but is not limited to, obtaining all demographic, insurance and medical information to accurately and thoroughly complete scheduling, registration and prior approval for services.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 1 year experience in PAS, Patient Financial Svcs., HIMS, front office application, customer service or other Revenue Cycle Relevant Dept required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Associate degree in Healthcare Mgmt., Medical Office Tech., Business, Finance, Public Health or related field preferred.

Other Information

  • PRN position - No set number of hours.
  • Shift start times may vary.
  • Will be required to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.
