Position Summary

Pharmacists at Vidant Medical Center are committed to the safe and effective use of medications through maximizing drug distribution and optimizing drug therapy outcomes; educating patients, providers, and ourselves on best practices; and fully integrating pharmacists into the continuum of care. Pharmacists report directly to a designated Pharmacy Supervisor based on area of practice.

Minimum Requirements

  • B.S. or PharmD in pharmacy is required
  • This pharmacist would need oncology experience
  • Experience in an outpatient oncology clinic preferred
  • Must be Licensed in North Carolina prior to start date or within 30 days of hire
  • Maintains active NC pharmacy license and provides proof of renewal prior to December 31 annually
  • BLS is required within 30 days of hire

Other Information

  • Full time with Benefits
  • The initial shift hours would be 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.  This may change as the position evolves and could potentially be to 8:00am to 8:00pm and 7:00am to 3:30pm on the weekends
  • This position will be with Vidant Oncology in Kinston
