Position Summary

The  Nursing Assistant II performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse and  functions within the framework of hospital standards and values. The Nursing Assistant II will be expected to perform all tasks as outlined in the NC Board of Nursing CNA  II  scope of practice list.  Nursing Assistant II may also be required to handle administrative tasks and perform diverse duties for nursing department.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Active NAI listing with the North Carolina Division of Facility Services is required
  • Active NAII listing with North Carolina Board of Nursing is required
  • Current American Heart Association BLS/Heartsaver is required
