The 15-bed ER serves approximately 21,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns. This modern facility provides a wide range of health services to its 39,000 residents in the four-county area.

Position Summary

A Certified Nursing Assistant II provides care that is grounded in mutually beneficial partnerships with patients and families.?? A Certified Nursing Assistant II assists in the care of patients in a wide variety of clinical settings.


Assists in the delivery of patient care according to policy and licensure.

Assists in the collection and reporting of patient data.

Assists with the admission, transport, transfer and discharge of patients.

Records patient information in patient medical record and reports key findings to supervising nurse.

Performs unit maintenance tasks

Participates in life-support activities as required, responds to Code Blue emergencies.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Listed with the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation as a Nursing Assistant I.

Listed with the NC Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant II.
Current American Heart Association CPR is required.

Other Information

This is a non-benefit status position.  PRN (on an as needed basis), mainly Monday-Friday, day shift
