Position Summary

The Nursing Assistant performs specific responsibilities under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Functions within the framework of the NA I listing granted by the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Practices within the philosophy and goals of patient care services.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School diploma is required.
  • NA I listing with NC Department of Health and Human Services is required.
  • Experience in a comparable facility can only be substituted for NA I course by successful completion of challenge exam acceptable to the NC Department of Health and Human Services is required.
  • Current American Heart Association CPR is required.
  • Current American Heart Association HeartSaver certification is required.
