About Vidant Duplin Hospital

Vidant Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina and has 20 practicing physicians on its active medical staff. Vidant Duplin serves Duplin County and surrounding communities in Eastern North Carolina with a population of approximately 60,000 people. On an annually basis, it serves 3,800 inpatients and over 52,000 outpatients (including nearly 30,0000 ED visits), in addition to a surgical volume of 2,050.

Position Summary

The Nurse Case Manager collaborates with the patient, social work case manager and other health care providers to facilitate patient access to those health and social services which enhance the patients’ health and well-being and his/her ability to adhere to the prescribed medical treatment regimen in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible. The Nurse Case Manager provides services to the patient in clinical settings.

 

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Licensure/Registration/Certification: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

  • 3 to 4 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
