Position Summary

A Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a Nuclear Medicine professional that is qualified by professional credentialing and academic and clinical experience to provide diagnostic patient care services using radioactive tracers and related diagnostic procedures. The scope of practice of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist includes those procedures, acts and processes permitted by law, for which the individual has received education and clinical experience, and has demonstrated competency, and has completed the appropriate ARRT (N) and/or CNMT certification(s) which is the standard practice in Nuclear Medicine.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate degree in Ragiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine required
  • Current RT(N). Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T.) and/or current CNMT, certified by Nuclear Medicine Technologists Certification Board required
  • IV Certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Other Information

  • Full time with benefits
  • Hours will vary 6:00am to 2:30pm, 6:30am to 3:00pm, 7:00am to 3:30pm and 8:00am to 4:30pm
  • Rotate call, weekends and holidays
