  • Assists with the collection and reporting of patient data including
  • Assist in the delivery of direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Assist in the admission, transportation and discharge of patients.
  • Participates in Environment of Care
  • Follows Infection control policies and procedures specific to the department, as well as other hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provides care using appropriate age and development approaches.
  • Must be able to operate the following equipment
  • May perform unit secretary duties as directed, and takes initiative to complete related tasks as needed

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Listed with the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation as a Nursing Assistant I.
  • Listed with the NC Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant II.
  • American Heart Association issued CPR Healthcare Provider Certification.

Preferred Requirements

  • 2 Years of NA II experience

  • Emergency Room experience

  • BLS current certification

  • SECURE or CPI training

Other Information

  • Full-time position

  • 11:00 am - 11:00 pm, 3 days a week (varying)
