Position Summary

  • Medical Technologist Supervisors oversee the operation of the VMC Dept. of Pathology during times when VMC lab managers are not on site.
  • The MT Supervisor serves as the "General Supervisor" as defined by CLIA-88 Federal Regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university of equivalent education and experience as defined by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
  • Registration or Certification required:  ASCP
  • Related Work Experience - Three to five years bench experience as a Medical Technologist with demonstrated supervisory capabilities.

Other Information

  • Full-time position.
  • Primary shift will be Monday-Friday / 8:00am - 4:30pm.
  • Must be able to work a weekend if needed.
