Position Summary

  • The MT Specialist assists the Assistant Section Manager and Manager with the overall management of his/her subdivision. 
  • The MT Specialist provides technical expertise and leadership to troubleshoot testing, equipment, and quality control issues.

Minimum Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in medical technology from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience as defined by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. 
  • ASCP Registration required. 
  • Three years bench experience as medical technologist with demonstrated supervisory capabilities.

Other Information

  • Primarily a day shift / 7am to 3:30pm
  • Cover alternate shifts on occasion - 1300-2130; 1500-2330; 2200-0800 etc.

  • Work every 3rd weekend

  • Must be able to Rotate Holidays

  • No call required
