  • Prepare patient specimens as required for laboratory testing. Perform laboratory tests. Monitor test results to assure test quality and validity. Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient.

  • Maintain properly documented records of activities. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment. Performs other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements

  • Four year college degree in Medical Technology required.
  • ASCP or equivalent certification required.
  • Subjects will qualify to be employed as or promoted to Medical Technologist II if he/she has ASCP certification and one year of full time experience in a hospital lab setting or 3 years of full time experience in a hospital setting without ASCP certification.
  • 1-3 years experience in clinical laboratory as a Medical Technologist required. 

Preferred Requirements

  • Mycobacteriaology and Mycology experience preferred.

Other Information

  • Hours - Mon-Fri - 7:00am - 3:30pm - Every 3rd Weekend and Rotating Holidays - Work alternate shifts as needed.
