Assists in the orientation and instructions of student and new staff members.
Follows proper procedures and policies for all aspects of the job.
Attempts to understand patients needs and responds accordingly.
Refers problems unable to personally solves to the Laboratory Manager/Supervisor.
Demonstrates an ability to access the situation, consider the alternatives and choose the appropriate course of action.
Uses procedure manuals to solve problems without always calling supervisor.
Provides proper notification for absence or tardiness (2hr ahead of time)
High School Diploma
Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician
3:00 pm - 11:00 pm, some 5:30 pm - 2:00 am
Every other weekend, an occasinal back-to-back weeend
4 Holidays per year
