About Vidant Medical Center

Vidant Medical Center is a fully accredited, 900+ bed regional referral facility encompassing a Level-1 Trauma Center and extensive inpatient and outpatient services including intensive and intermediate care, pediatrics, bariatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, pain management and psychiatry.

Responsibilities

  • Operates, maintains and repairs air compressor and vacuum systems.
  •  Operates, maintains and repairs HVAC systems including air-handling systems, heat pumps and reheat systems.
  • Operates, maintains and repairs chilled water systems, condenser water systems and cooling towers.
  •  Operates, maintains and repairs domestic water pumps and fire pumps.
  •  Operates fire tube boilers.
  •  Operates tools, test equipment, vehicles, etc. necessary to perform duties and responsibilities.
  •  Participates in the On-Call rotation. 

Minimum Requirements

  • High School plus 2 years or more formal training or education.
  • 4 - 5 years of related experience.
  • 2 additional years of experience may substitute for 1 year of the education.
  • Valid NC Drivers License required.

  • 1 full time vacancy, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
