Position Summary

The Manager  Sourcing and Value Analysis candidate will be knowledgeable in strategic sourcing but also have a strong understanding and comfort level with the medical supply chain value analysis processes including clinical efficacy, safety and the impact on organizational resources while overseeing planning, prioritization of various cross-functional projects of a moderate to complex nature across departments such as: Surgery, GI Lab, Nursing, Critical Care, Medical Surgical, Pharmacy, Respiratory Care, Laboratory, Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular and other Departments.  The candidate will proactively manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment, provide strong leadership and guidance and establish cohesive relationships with other functional personnel.


  The candidate will be able to administer all activities, including but not limited to:

  • planning strategic initiatives;
  • establish project requirements;
  • communicate goals and objectives to various stakeholders;
  • set deadlines;
  • source suppliers;
  • negotiate contracts;
  • conducting bids;
  • requests for proposals;
  • contractual risk assessments;
  • full life cycle of sponsor contracts/change orders (amendments);
  • preparation of the contract by drafting and/or incorporating the scope of work, legal, financial, and operational terms;
  • assign responsibilities;
  • ensure tasks are completed;
  • development of, report and present key metrics on initiatives;
  • provide guidance for managers and staff in the delivery of products and services and on contract management and policy compliance matters.

These functions will pertain to commodity products, medical devices, physician preference items and capital equipment and the Candidate will use other procurement strategies for goods and services in a cost effective, high quality and timely manner using honest, fair and ethical business practices.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher is required

  • Four years or more experience is required in business, healthcare, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or other direct experience in the sourcing of goods and services is required
