Vidant Medical Transport provides critical care air and ground service to areas within 150 miles of Greenville, North Carolina. Position Summary

The Manager for EastCare will work collaboratively with the Administrator in twenty-four hour accountability for the program. This will include supervising all transport crew, working on quality indicators/improvement, maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation agencies as well as financial management for the transport program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Licensure/Registration/Certification: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Three to four years related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years as RN in air medical or ground critical care transport and 2 years management/leadership experience

EastCare Manager must meet the all of the qualifications of an EastCare Flight nurse, which include:

  • ACLS, BLS, PALS. NRP and TNCC or PHTLS/ITLS must be obtained before completion of orientation.
  • EMT must be obtained after 1 year off of orientation for RN.
  • One specialty certification for example, CFRN must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
